How to use AthenaPrep

Your road to the top

From your first past-paper question to full mocks, a study planner and sharp analysis — here's everything AthenaPrep gives you, step by step. Start free, go unlimited with Pro or Elite.

  1. Step 01

    Getting started & your plan

AthenaPrep is a serious exam-prep arena — the whole syllabus, your progress, one place.

    • Launch. Sign in and you land on Home — the hub for every section and tool.
    • Free trial. Start free, no card: 10 practice questions per section, AthenaPrep Mock 1 and 2, plus one sectional mock each for VARC, DILR and Quant.
    • Go Pro or Elite. CAT & OMETS 26', Pro (₹799) includes 40 full-length mocks, 60 sectional mocks and re-attempts; Elite (₹1,099) also lets you attempt full mocks section-wise and adds Ask Athena, the Error Logbook and priority support. CAT & OMETS 27' is also available on the Pricing page.
    • One-time payment. Each plan is a single Razorpay payment (UPI, cards, net-banking) — no autopay, no e-mandate. Access opens the instant payment succeeds.
  2. Step 02

    Syllabus, Trends & Concept Videos

Know what to study, then learn it — before you start solving.

    • Syllabus & Trends. The full syllabus for your exam, section-wise, with year-wise question-weightage so you focus on what actually appears.
    • Concept Videos. Topic-wise conceptual lectures across every section by top educators — curated playlists, in one place.
  3. Step 03

    Practice past questions (PYQs)

Thousands of real past questions for your exam, every section — each with a worked solution.

    • Pick a section → topic. Open any section, choose a topic, and you get a numbered grid of every question.
    • Solve & learn. Answer, see instantly if you're right, and open the option-by-option solution. Math renders properly; passages and DI charts sit beside the question.
    • Resume & track. Attempted questions turn green with a tick; "Resume" jumps to where you left off. Open the list drawer to browse without losing your place.
    • Question timer. Each question has an optional stopwatch — tap to start timing yourself, for exam pace.
  4. Step 04

    Additional practice & custom sets

Finished the PYQs? Keep going with extra exam-level practice sets.

    • More sets. Extra questions at the same style and difficulty as your exam, split by section, each with solutions.
    • Custom practice sets. Build your own set from any topics and practise them together — tracked separately so your PYQ stats stay clean.
  5. Step 05

    Mock tests (real exam interface)

Sit the exam, not just the questions.

    • Sectional & full. Take a single section, or a full mock with all sections in your exam's real order.
    • Exam UI. A countdown timer, the question palette (answered / not-answered / marked / not-visited), Mark for Review, Save & Next, and Clear Response.
    • Real timing. Mocks follow your exam's own timing — sectional timers and locks where the exam has them, exactly like the real thing.
    • Score & review. Your exam's exact marking scheme, an overall and per-section score, then a full review with solutions.
  6. Step 06

    Mock Tracker

Log the mocks you take anywhere — any mock series or AthenaPrep's own — and watch the trends.

    • Log a mock. Enter section-wise correct/wrong/skipped, time per section, percentile and notes. AthenaPrep finishes the maths using your exam's marking.
    • Trends & charts. Percentile, score and section-accuracy plotted over every attempt, with a target-percentile line.
    • Loopholes. Tag what went wrong (silly mistakes, set selection, time…) and AthenaPrep surfaces your recurring patterns.
    • Auto-fill from AthenaPrep mocks. Finish an AthenaPrep mock and "Analyse in Mock Tracker" pre-fills the whole entry.
  7. Step 07

    Mistake Notebook & Error Logbook

Learn from every slip — twice over.

    • Notebook (auto). Any question you get wrong lands in your notebook, tagged with its source, with a notepad for your takeaway.
    • Error Logbook (Elite). A structured log of mistakes — tag each as silly, conceptual, timing, calculation, misread or a wrong guess, add the lesson, then tick it resolved.
    • Filter & review. Filter the logbook by mistake type to attack one weakness at a time.
  8. Step 08

    Analysis, streak & profile

See exactly where you stand and keep showing up.

    • Analysis. Accuracy by section and topic, weakest-first — so you know what to fix next.
    • Profile. A "Hi, you" header reads your numbers and tells you where you stand, with a growth chart of questions solved. Your plan badge (Pro / Elite) sits next to your name the moment you subscribe.
    • Your details. Fill your personal info, category, academics and work-ex once in the Profile form — it powers the Profilizer's call predictions and stays saved.
    • Streak & activity. Your daily streak, total attempted, accuracy, and a 30-day activity strip.
  9. Step 09

Study Planner, Calendar & Mock Scheduler

Map your entire prep to exam day.

    • Set your exam date. AthenaPrep shows a live countdown and builds your plan against it.
    • Auto-generate a plan. One tap lays out a day-by-day plan — topics interleaved across sections, weekly mocks, and a revision sprint before the exam.
    • Edit anything. Add, check off or delete tasks on any day; a calendar shows section-coloured dots and your progress.
    • Schedule mocks. Drop a full mock onto any day with one tap.
  10. Step 10

    MBA Profilizer — call predictor

Turn your mock percentiles and profile into a real shortlist.

    • Your full profile. Enter overall plus VARC / DILR / QA percentiles — and your category, academics (10th/12th/grad) and work-ex are pulled straight from your saved Profile.
    • High / Medium / Low calls. AthenaPrep weighs 20+ top B-schools (IIMs, FMS, SPJIMR, MDI and more) against your composite and category-adjusted cutoffs, then sorts them into High, Medium and Low call chances.
    • Visual read. A score gauge, a sectional radar and a contribution chart show exactly what's lifting or dragging your profile. Cutoffs are indicative (vary by category, profile and year).
  11. Step 11

    Flashcards & Word Quiz

    Small daily habits, stronger recall.

    • Flashcards. A fresh daily recall deck across every section — reveal the answer, rate your recall and revisit weak cards.
    • Daily word quiz. 10 vocabulary words a day — a fresh set each morning to build your verbal edge and your streak.
  12. Step 12

    Bookmarks, Resources & Formula Sheets

Keep what matters close, and revise smart.

    • Bookmarks. Save any question to revisit before the exam, with your own notes — all in one place.
    • Reading & Formula Sheets. Free daily reading & editorials for RC, plus a complete Quant + LRDI formula sheet for quick revision.
    • Free resources, compiled. Free practice, mocks & question banks from every top platform (Cracku, 2IIM, BodheePrep & more), gathered in one place.
  13. Step 13

    Colleges, Profilizer & WAT-PI

From percentile to a real seat.

    • Top B-School details. India's leading B-schools — average CTC, fees & ROI — compare any of them side by side.
    • MBA Profilizer. The effort-percentile each B-school needs, curated to your own profile — see what's Reachable, a Stretch, or a Tough call.
    • WAT-PI & Counselling. Final-round prep — WAT, GD & PI — plus a 1:1 counselling session with IIM alumni (live after CAT).
  14. Step 14Elite

    Ask Athena

Your 24×7 study mentor, a tap away.

    • Doubt-solving. Stuck on a solution or a concept? Ask Athena explains it step by step, any time.
    • Your notes too. Upload your own PDFs and notes and ask questions across them (your library).
